Breakfast in Bed: Love It or Hate It?

While I'm a huge fan of leisurely weekend brunches, I'm not too keen on breakfast in bed. It's because I'm kind of a neat freak and hate getting crumbs on the covers or in between the sheets. Also it just seems gross — the concept of eating where you sleep. It reminds me of being sick and brings to mind hospitals. I'd much rather enjoy a romantic Valentine's Day breakfast at the table, thank you very much. How do you feel about it?

Crumbs in my bed make me nuts, and it reminds me of being in the hospital. The way to win me over is to have a cup of coffee and breakfast waiting for me after I fully open my eyes- and in the kitchen!!

Yeah, not a fan. Oprah's right; the bed is only for two things...and eating is not one of them!

Hate it. Firstly, I would never eat until I brushed my teeth. Secondly, the idea of dropping food crumbs on my bed grosses me out. No way.

I'm never sick, haven't been in the hospital, & not sloppy so I think B in B would be nice. I can't say that I've ever experienced it, so I think it would be fun to try. :)

I don't like the idea of eating in bed, agree with Party, it's just too messy and icky and reminds me of being sick.

wow. lots of breakfast in bed haters. i will admit i eat breakfast in bed almost everyday in the winter, and i love it. i am always cold (which is hard to take first thing in the morning!) so i bring my oatmeal and coffee back to my room and eat in the warmth of my bed. it's a pretty fantastic habit, i have to say.

it was so sweet my kids a my love brought me biscuits and gravy in bed this morning and i thought it was sweet i actually ate at the table though that just means tomorrow is about him
