Last month, Burger King revealed that sliders would be the newest addition to the chain's regular menu. When I sampled the fast-food company's limited-edition Angry Whopper, I tried the pint-sized versions of the chain's flame-broiled burger as well. To see what I thought of them, read more.
BK Burger Shots, as the sliders are called, are yet another attempt by Burger King to be budget friendly at a time when fast-food joints have had to adjust prices and consumers have been shorter on cash. If you're looking for a snack-sized serving, a pair of the miniature burgers will set you back only $1.39. For a larger serving, a six-pack costs $4.09. Not a bad price, considering the size of the meal.
Unfortunately, what virtues the BK Shots earn in price get canceled out when it comes to flavor. While it is flame-broiled like the other burgers on the menu, the BK shots don't come with the Whopper's ratio of condiments (ketchup, but no mayo), and the toasted sesame seed bun has been replaced by a plain bun that isn't firm enough in the hands and sticks to the roof of the mouth. It is a slider at its worst: squishy, mushy, and slippery, without any of the melt-in-your-mouth virtues of its classic counterpart, the White Castle slider.
In the future, I'll pass on this — I'd rather cut a Whopper into six pieces instead. Have you tried the BK Burger Shots? What did you think of them?

Michael Kors
Unpleasantly mustard-laden. And ultimately unsatisfying.
1Uggh that image makes my stomach hurt.
2Ok, not my proudest moment but my husband and I were curious and picked up a meal to split. While the portion really was generous (3 each had us both full), I thought they were hard to separate and ended up smashing and flattening them just to rip them apart from each other. I wasn't really into it.
3i hate the commercials for these things, so retarded!
so im gonna stick with my regular whopper jr. only a dollar, and a LOT more filling!
4I like hardees miature burgers wayyy better!
5The Pictures are not tempting me at ALL! pass
6I don't eat BK anymore. And those pictures do a good job of proving why.
7I don't understand what the appeal would be ordering sliders from BK. It looks like downgraded mini-burgers. Why not just order a Whopper Jr?
8The slider's don't look appetizing at all :\
9Thank you for 'falling on the knife' for us - now I can skip them!
10I still dont understand what the big deal about Sliders is..and those..look very ucky.
11I think you should have put a comparison picture of the BK Sliders from an official BK ad. I doubt the add has them looking as gross as that!
12Bleh, I don't like Burger King at all.
13I haven't eaten at BK in over a year. I don't like their regular burgers, and these look even worse.

15My husband and I tried them when we needed a snack to hold us over until dinner a couple weeks ago. I don't think they were as bad as described. I think the comparison to a whopper is exactly fair. It would be like trying to compare a McDonald's cheeseburger to the Big Mac, not even close. I'd say it's more comparable to their regular cheeseburger only without the sesame seeds on the bun and smaller.
16To all the haters,
17Give 'em a chance! They're pretty good.
i am ok with it but they should of put veggies in it! anyway, the garden salad with ranch is pretty good tho!
18I actually really liked them. I went ketchup only (we do our whopped lettuce, tomato and ketchup) and split the 6 with both of my daughters. I'm generally pretty picky. Admittedly, they do have a squishy bun. We sort of thought that was fun. The meat tasted good for what they are. I found them more satisfying than the small hamburger. Ate some veggies from home and it was good.
