CB2's J Dinnerware: Love It or Hate It?

I'm really digging CB2's new j dinnerware. It's simple and plain — perfect for food photography! — but has just a tiny bit of flare on the edges. Plus, each piece is a total bargain at under $4. What do you guys think, would they find a home on your dinner table?

nice design imo but the quality of the dinnerware is very bad. They scratch grey immediately with the slightest breeze from a fork or knife. They also crack if you put them in the microwave. :( For those who love white dishes, keep in mind that these will not stay white as soon as the first use. Using a brillo pad to try and remove the scratched only makes things worse btw.

It kind of looks like you bought cheap plates and they melted in the dishwasher.

I love plain white dishes. And these are a little unique, and fun without being over the top. Very nice!

I love these. I have plain white dishes and love them because you can dress up you table in many different ways and your dishes will never clash - the possibilities are endless. I love these because they are just a little different but not too overpowering.

I always wanted classic white plates and I saw them in Chef's catalog. However, they were extremely pricey! This is a nice alternate. Love it!

Simple is fine. You could make a table setting pop with this otherwise drab white, if you know how to entertain!

I do like it. I'd like it more in red. I especially like how the curve works on the bowl... looks like you could rest chopstick there.

When it comes to white plates I tend to go towards a square look, I think these are too plain for the little flare at the sides, maybe a little color would make it stand out better...IMO.
