Chevre
The French word for goat that has since extended into the culinary world to mean the cheeses made from goat’s milk. It's a pure white goat's milk cheese with a creamy and tart flavor that distinguishes it from other cheeses. Chevre can be moist to dry, is semi-firm and comes in a variety of round and cylinder shapes that can be stored for up to 2 weeks in the fridge. Montrachet and Bucheron are a few better known chevre makers.
