From logo lollipops to stylish cupcakes, the merging of fashion and food isn't new. What I haven't seen, however, is a Champagne glass shaped like a shoe! Designed by famed shoe maker Christian Louboutin, this glass slipper was created to coincide with the launch of the brand's own Champagne. In partnership with Piper Heidsieck, the bubbly and shoe are available for a limited time at Colette in Paris, starting Oct. 26. I think both the bottle and glass are incredibly sexy and would love to get my hands on the set! How about you?

I'd probably get it just for the glass... and give away the champagne. lol
No, it's not for me.
I have absolutely no concept of how that shoe would work for a glass. Beyond that, do I really want to sip out of a shoe, glass or otherwise?
It's very cool and all, but how are you gonna drink out of that glass? I like it, but the idea isn't working with me at the moment.
Elegant
I would want the shoe for decorative purposes only.
The shoe glass looks kind of cool, but the concept of drinking out of a shoe just kind of grosses me out. Sorry, I'll pass.
I love the concept, would buy, would not drink out of shoe cause I'd probably spill it.
I have the same question as others, how do you drink out of the shoe? And it's seems gross to drink out of out a shoe but art for art-sake's works for me.
i want 1 !
Undecided - Love Louboutin, hate Champagne. I wouldn't drink out of a glass shoe (and I actually wonder how are you supposed to do it!) but I'd keep it on a shelve..
Hmmm, I think the glass slipper is for decorative use only, not meant to be a functional champagne glass. I think the idea is that it's a "champagne GLASS SLIPPER," not "champagne glass." Well, that's my take. I may be mistaken.
Drinking from a woman's shoe is an old phrase, I believe based on literature (I could be wrong on that one). And it's been a symbol of extreme decadence for years.
I think this set is lovely. I don't drink champagne (or even wine for that matter) but I might just try a sip soley to drink out of that shoe glass (no pun intended lol). In the case of this glass I wonder if the heel is hollow and that's where the liquid goes, you tilt the shoe and drink from the back (heel) of it. Or if the heel isn't hollow perhaps the "bowl" of the glass is deep enough to hold he liquid. Either way, drinking from a shoe has always been portrayed as in sipping it from the back of the shoe.
I remember watching old movies and men drinking bubbly out of women's shoes. It was not disgusting, it was hollywood decadence, old hollywood beauty. Women decked out, dripping in diamonds, furs around their necks, beautiful heels on their feet, men in fine tailored suits, glamour everywhere.
I love this idea! I actually think the top is shaped just like a regular glass, so you would just tip it back and the champagne would slide up. Pretty cool, and definitely sexy.
christian louboutin is my favourite, thanks.Your article is wonderful!Hold it.
I think this concept is really cool. A crystal stiletto that you can drink out of! How much sexier does it get? HOT!!!!!
As we mentioned yesterday in our post about the trials and tribulations of couture, cobbler Jimmy Choo, emu boots doesn't design his namesake brand. However, he does design made-to-measure shoes under the moniker Jimmy Choo Couture,Christian Louboutin。I love Manolo Blahnik ,ysl high heels and chanel flats shoes, but when it comes down to it, there's nothing like a pair of comfy worn out converse, you are keen for Keen shoes.

Being a Louboutin fan I would be absolutely thrilled to receive this - the shoe would be decorative - a fab gift for a shoe gal!
