Cinnamon: Love It or Hate It?

The other day Yum and I were discussing the fragrant holiday spice cinnamon. Apparently, she knows several people who simply can't stand the taste of it. I happen to enjoy cinnamon in everything from sweet sugar cookies to exotic savoy cuisine. How about you?

I voted for Undecided because I neither hate or love it, it's somewhere in between. I used to hate cinnamon because I associated it with being sick. When I had the flu, my Mom would make me cinnamon toast. The smell of cinnamon rolls used to make me VERY nauseated, but a few years ago that passed. I'll bake with it, but it's not one of my favorites.

Love it, especially cinnamon buns! I don't really care too much for cinnamon fragrances or candles though.

I understand hating the fake flavor, but what's not to love about the real thing? I know one person who is allergic, but otherwise no complaints.

I love it and use copious amounts of it. It has a ton of health benefits so it's a great thing to use.

I love it. I have a friend who is allergic to cinnamon, but I can't imagine anyone hating it!

I absolutely LOVE cinnamon. I put it in and on everything...my coffee, my oatmeal, fresh fruit, tea, etc. Yummy!!

I LOVE cinnamon. There is just something about it that makes me add an extra dash to dishes. So yummy. I especially love it sprinkled over arroz con leche or getting on of the sticks in my bowl. Mmmmm.
