When it comes to salads that are hearty enough to make a complete meal, there's nothing better than the cobb. Here's reader courtneyd's homemade version.

Cobb salad is one of my favorites, and I finally decided to make my own instead of picking up the plastic tub at my workplace cafeteria. To take it one step further, I also made the ranch from scratch instead of picking up the bottle of Hidden Valley at the grocery store.
