Are the Men in Your Life Cooking More?

According to the New York Post, more men in Manhattan are cooking at home. The story cites the Food Network, the recession, and a desire to impress females as reasons why more guys are putting on aprons and manning the stove. Some males even consider it a talent along the likes of being well-traveled or speaking two languages. While my dad has always been the head chef in my family, I would have to agree with the article. My older brother has recently developed an interest in cooking and jumps at the chance to help me in the kitchen! How about you?

My dad cooks a little more than usual, which still isn't much. But my boyfriend is a way better cook than I am!

I've been with a guy for five months- he is a chef and he cooks a couple of times per week. If the kitchen is a mess or if there is very little food, then he won't go into the kitchen except to get water- so I've been cleaning more. I'm learning and I realize I'm very lucky. I'm learning tips from him- my forte is drinks and dessert and I only have 2 main courses I'm comfortable making- I need to learn more. Cooking is definitely a skill and, for some, it can be an art form- I'm lucky to have an artist in my kitchen.

My boyfriend is a better cook then me. He makes yummy lasagna and stews. I'm trying to catch up with him!

We usually cook together, but my husband cooks more than I do!

My boyfriend is a big lover of really fine foods. He loves make freshly baked bread, home made fettucini, roast beef,etc. He really likes cooking, and I think sometimes he does it to impress me; haha!

My boyfriend cooks dinner a lot, simply because he's home before I am usually. My older brother, though, has to be one of the best cooks I know. Lately I have just been longing for his food.
