they're called boquerones in Málaga Spain, and are so popular that the people of Málaga are named after them :) don't like them canned though..

Almost every good Caesar salad dressing has anchovies in it. All of you who have had this have had anchovies and did not even know it. Love them fresh.

I love them, especially in Pad Thais (where they use fish sauce). I don't have any aversions to any kinds of food so that may be why :)

i really wanted to like anchovies. so a friend and i challenged ourselves one day and we ordered an anchovy pizza. we only had one bite each. the fishy taste wasn't the problem. it was that they were SO salty.
