i like fish and chips's chips :) the fish just looses its lovely flavour when deep-fried. everything else i bake.

I don't eat fried food on a regular basis, but there are lots of fried goodies that are major treats. Traditional fish and chips, sweet potato fries and deep fried mars bars are probably my faves.

I sure do, occasionally. I was just in New Orleans and had some of the best fried catfish of my LIFE! I don't indulge too often though, since it's unhealthy and usually upsets my stomach a little.

Sometimes. I can't handle fried foods as much as I use to (sad that I'm only 30 and this is the case). But really, I don't like them too often so it's not a big loss. I'll only eat certain things anyway (mozzarella sticks being one of them).

Every 6 months or so my hubby and I have a fried food night... So unhealthy, we probably shouldn't even do it that often! But we batter, bread and fry everything ourselves... Like mushrooms, broccoli, onion rings, wontons and anything else we can think of...

Mesayme, I live in SC, too. Where do you live? I try not to eat fried foods too often, because I'm trying to lose weight! But fried chicken and fried pickles are so good!

i love fried food but now eat it in servere moderation. my stomach can't handle the oils. of course i'll indulge myself once a month :) french fries are usually the fried food of choice. i've heard you can "bake fry" how the heck do you do that??

Hell yeah! As long as you don't make it a meal mainstay and avoid fried fast food, there's nothing wrong with indulgence every once and awhile. Besides, if someone told me I could never eat french fries or conch fritters ever again, I just may die.
