Do You Eat Goat?

For the past couple of years, the food world has been fascinated with goat meat. I've read countless stories in magazines and newspapers and seen goat on trendy restaurants' menus, and now, it's available at Whole Foods. While I've tried goat more than once, I don't know if I'm ready to make it at home. I've heard the meat must be cooked for long periods of time to get it tender. How about you?

Yes, I've had goat before. It wasn't a big deal. It does taste a bit like beef.

Nope, I don't. When I was a kid my aunt had a huge party and they were serving goat. The way they cooked it smelled disgusting and I have refused to eat it since.

I really don't see what the big deal is. It's the same consistency as beef, and loads of Indian dishes I have are made with goat. It's not any different to me as people who really like lamb.

I've had a cabrito burger before, it was excellent! But I've never cooked with it myself.
