Do You Eat Heavy Lunches at Work?

Last Wednesday after an evening of a little too much celebrating, I came into work hung over. I was craving a sandwich and since chef Dennis Leary's recently opened hot spot, Golden West, is directly across the street from the office, I ordered one of his specialties. I had the braised short rib sandwich, which was absolutely delicious. However, it was pretty heavy for the middle of the workday and afterward, I wished I had enjoyed a lighter lunch. Do you eat heavy meals for lunch while working?

no, only because i hardly ever eat super heavy meals. i don't like how i feel afterwards!

I usually have a salad or something light for lunch. Today, work provided lunch and I ate too much and I felt blah all afternoon.

I eat lunch at home, but I eat small meals throughout the day in general.

Lunch is my heaviest meal of the day. It gives you more time to burn off the calories. I always eat a light dinner. Since my food would have less time to digest before I go to sleep.

No, most of the time I just have salad. But on Friday is the day I splurge and have something fun like Chipotle!

Generally not, unless I'm going out with someone and they choose where. And I agree with others, it never sits well and I often have to go to the bathroom.

No..usually I take the rice with veggies or quinoa that I make with dinner the night before :) Its fills me up but doesn't sit in my tummy. If I go out and eat somethign heavy the rest of the afternoon drags on and I have to go to the bathroom more frequently!
