Do You Entertain on Weeknights?

When it comes to entertaining, I don't limit myself to strictly the weekend. I'll host a dinner party on Monday or a game night on Wednesday. However, I know not everyone entertains as much as I do. Thus, I want to know, when do you have people over? Any old night of the week? Or only for special occasions?

Yes. Although it's always hard to make it to bed on time those nights!

i would any day! cooking doesnt take that much time and i love entertaining. besides i keep ingredients on hand to throw together a good meal in a short time.

On Thursdays in the summer, our town has this outdoor music fest that's near our house. We usually have people come over and park their cars by our house, enjoy beer and appetizers, then we walk over to the concert. It's casual and it's a lot of fun!

We get up at 5 am for work so doing stuff on weeknights is pretty hard. I try to avoid it if at all possible.

i do entertain the girls on weekdays as my boyfriend is often out of town working...we do more co-ed/couples stuff on weekends...but when i entertain the girls it's not like crazy fancy...i try to plan ahead and keep it simple

Sometimes, but mostly I keep it towards the weekends. We have kids and most of our friends have kids.

During the Bachelor/Bachelorette Seasons my mom and i always have a party at our house. Cheese Plates, antipastos, home made pestos, and we drink wine. Only girls and only fun. Its a great time. Ill also entertain during the week if a holiday lands on a week night, for example a couple years ago i had a huge Halloween bash and made all Halloween themes food like Adam ribs (baby back ribs) fingers (chicken fingers). As long as you start early and don't stay out till too late its a great time.

It's more fun to watch Lost with company, so I frequently have friends over on Tuesdays to watch, discuss, and eat
