Do You Freeze Things?

The only things in my freezer are ice, frozen berries, puff pastry, and vodka. There was a time when my freezer was full of tupperware, but I never ended up eating anything I froze, so I stopped. Although I make soups and casseroles, I prefer to eat the leftovers rather than freeze them for a later date. How about you?

Wow. I freeze uncooked Chinese dumplings. That's about it.

Probably should, but can't. I despise leftovers, so freezing something is the ultimate leftover to me.

I freeze soups, sauces and Belgian waffles. A bath of that batter makes way more than 2 people should eat in one sitting.

Freeze and forget... I usually am so excited about new recipes that I don't want to revisit things I've already made... but having things in the freezer does make it easier on hectic nights..

I don't freeze many leftovers but have lots of veggies and meats in there. I do make big batched of pancakes occasionally on the weekends and freeze the leftovers for quick breakfasts. I like to have frozen Boca meat on hand too for protein and quick dinners.

Only pizza dough. We make a bunch at once and roll it into balls (each of which will make one crust) and freeze them in zip-locs. Then on the day we want pizzas for dinner, we'll put the frozen crusts in the fridge to defrost before we leave for work.

i freeze everything! soups, pasta sauces, meats, meatballs, burgers, hot dogs. my grocery store does a lot of buy one, get one free sales so i usually freeze one of them. anytime i make trays of baked ziti, lasagna, mac & cheese, or anything similar- i make double and triple and just freeze the 2 or 3 other trays. also when i make my homemade sloppy joe's (which are awesome!) i always make extra and freeze! if i didn't, my fiancee would kill me! my freezer is always full of good stuff. i hate to waste food and my freezer helps me not too!

I freeze leftover rice in individual portions. It's SO much better than refrigerating it. But, I freeze very few actual leftovers. Between my husband and son, they're usually gone anyhow.

I throw nothing out. Nothing. I freeze the smallest bits of leftovers and throw them on top of a salad to bring to work.

I need remember to start freezing my leftover vegetable scraps. They make great starter bases for stocks.

i cook hamburger and freeze it for later. makes dinner eaiser and quicker. spaghetti, tacos, that kind of thing.

Yes! I have so many berries in my freezer, and veggies for soup. Mmm. Also being one person, I often freeze a half loaf of bread so that it doesn't grow mold before I can finish it.

I got a million bunches of chard from my CSA box this spring so I used it to make tons of pesto. Froze the pesto in ice cube trays so now I can defrost as many as I need to use on pizza, pasta, etc. It's fab!

My husband's processed frozen food (for when I don't want to cook) Meat (divided up in to individual pieces) sometimes if a sauce that I create turns out really well I'll put that in a tiny bowl and save it to reuse later. And I never eat the rice when I order Chinese food so I keep it in the freezer since my daughter likes it. And her popsicles.. and ice. (Sounds like a lot but it really isn't.)

I freeze leftovers, meat, and bread. I especially love baking and freezing big batches of muffins. Then I have an easy breakfast for the next month.

Just about everything but cheese. It's just hubby and me but some days it's just too hot to cook or we remember how yummy something was and want to have it again. Does anyone dehydrate food? It's great with tomatoes kinda like sun-dried one.

I freeze homemade wontons and pasta sauce. Soup never lasts long enough. I freeze a lot of meats to cook later too.

I freeze vegetables and meat. I sometimes buy a whole chicken, cut it, freeze, and then use different parts for different meals over the next two weeks. There are also frozen fries and fish in my freezer, but those I already bought frozen.

It's just the two of us, so we never end up having leftovers when we cook. I never buy ahead; I just grab a loaf of bread at the store when we need it, so I don't have to freeze anything. I doubt my freezer could hold it all anyways.

I freeze practically everything! I've got a Food Saver vac that eliminates freezer burn. It really does pay for itself!

I need a new freezer because of the horrible freezer burn! I do freeze meat and veggies.

i always keep a bunch of frozen veggies & costco meat, but right now the only thing in my freezer is breastmilk! I'm pumping for my baby who is in the hospital, and it will take her months to use it all ... better than having the opposite problem :)
