We use gas bc of the ease but used to have a charcaol grill which does add more flavor - wish we had both.
Where's the option for using wood? We put wood in the grill and light it and let it burn down to embers for a while and then put the food on. It cooks a little faster than charcoal, but if you let it burn down for a while, it imparts a nice smoky flavor to the food.
You MUST use charcoal. To use a gas grill in my family is blasphemy.
I love my gas grill.
Charcoal. I love it.
personally i don't grill but my husband prefers charcoal and my mom uses a gas grill at home.
When cooking bacon........you need charcoal..........but gas is so convenient in the winter.........you can still add smoke flavor on gas........so if you can .........get one of each!
I have both, if your lava rocks are well used in your gas grill it makes your food taste really good and I prefer it but of course the new gas grills don't have lava rocks so they probably suck, but if I make hamburgers I usually use my charcoal grill because the grease in the burgers make my gas grill flame up pretty bad and it scares me a little bit! Overall though I prefer my gas grill. :)
I'm all about the charcoal.
I use gas but charcoal is better
I agree with tisgirl!!! Charcoal rocks!
Charcoal all the way. Gas is easy, but something grilled over charcoal just tastes better.
Gas vs. Charcoal, I'd say gas, just because it's way more convenient. However, my father-in-law just got an electric grill that uses pellets and it's awesome! So, if I had to choose, I'd say electric!
