I always have to have a list, because I can't remember more than two or three things at a time. I write everything down in the order that I walk around the store, so I don't accidentally skip over something and have to make a trip back for just one item.

my mom has always taught me to use a list and i just haven't caught on for the most part. there are times that i will take one with me but it really depends on my mood and all that

I generally make a list, and then I don't use it! But making the list helps me think of everything I need.

I have to go with a list or I end up forgetting everything I went in for and getting a ton of stuff that I don't need. My friends always comment on my list and notice when I don't have one and see the difference it makes for me.

I MUST make a list if I go to Super Tar-jey (Super Target) or I will go in for aluminum foil, grapefruit and toothpaste and come out with a cart full of "WTF!?" On the other hand, the farmer's markets are a list-free zone. Gotta go with what looks good!

I always have a list so I know what I need, if I don't then I buy the stuff that I see while browsing. :-)

I'm a lister also, but I do every aisle every time I shop cause there's always something new or that I just want when I see it. My hubby shops with me and he likes the sale items. So a list is a must and I must throw in all the extras. Love to grocery shop.

LIST, LIST LIST!! I keep a running list on my refrigerator, a habit I got from my Mom. The minute something is opened or used, it gets added to the list. That way we never run out of anything - or rarely, anyway. From the time I could write, I was taught to do that. I buy off-list if I see something on sale or that looks interest, but the list keeps me from forgetting anything and makes shopping quicker.

I usually go aisle by aisle and see what I want or maybe need. But before I do any shopping I check what I need, if I forget to buy something ah well I'll buy it next time heheh =)

I'm really bad with grocery lists! Even if I remember to take one to the store with me, I still almost always end up forgetting to pick up something I wrote down.

we need a list... I love to get to home and say "!@#$@# i didn't buy coffe" my boss... does that... always out of paper, coffe, sugar.. because she only goes, buys things and gets home and see what she got... even with a list you forget things

I rarely use a list. I only make lists when I'm buying stuff for a party and I don't want to forget anything. Otherwise I just go to the grocery store and buy whatever I feel like buying that day and also sometimes I'll take advantage of the sales. Anyway, I never buy a whole lot in advance, I prefer going to the grocery store many times a week. I end up wasting so much stuff if I don't do that.

I usually go listless lol but when I am trying out a new recipe or having a big gathering I usually make one so that I can remember to get everything.

OMG, I'm a list fanatic! I make lists for everything! I don't always STICK to my lists though...I tend to buy one or two new things each time I'm at the grocery store. I think it's fun to try new foods.

With a list, because I'll forget what I need otherwise. I also write out the list in the order I'll pass it in the store.

I always use a shopping list. But then again, I make a meal plan and then I make the list, so I am fairly anal about things like this. :)

I have to have a list to stop me from buying unnecessary items. Heck, I even have my lists separated by if they are food or household items. I also found it helpful to get my grocery money in cash so I don't overspend and overbuy which can easily happen since I do my shopping at Super Target.

I almost always use a list...I'm fairly absent-minded and will usually forget the most important thing I came to the store for if I haven't written it down!

I'm a list maker, so I always have a list. The only thing I may buy not on my list is wine, beer, or liquor that is on sale.

i usually go w/ a list... sometimes i do shop off the top of my head... and i usually just get some other things....sometimes to create another meal...sometimes just b/c it looks more fresh and sometimes just for fun!
