Do You Keep Food at Your Work Desk?

Here at Sugar Inc., YumSugar and I share a pod with AlexisSF, the editor of CelebStyle. The three of us are avid foodies always discussing last night's meals and what's on the menu for tonight's dinner. We also each keep food at our desks. Yum has raisins and nuts for her morning's oatmeal, Alexis has an assortment of seasonings to the right of her computer, and yours truly keeps the top drawer filled with crackers and bananas. How about you?

cereal, lara bars, raw revolution bars, oatmeal, coconut oil in a little container, homemade evoo/balsamic dressing, soynut butter, stevia, honey, cinnamon, sea salt, Kashi TLC crackers, pita puff chips, gingersnaps, almonds, tea, graham crackers. doesn't everyone have an assortment?? lol! It changes from time to time too

I do keep various leftover condiment packets, salt and pepper packets, and a spare can of juice or Dr Pepper in a drawer in the office but I am driving a truck most of the day so I keep my "stash" of food and drink in a Lunchmate/Igloo cooler. BTW, thanks to all of you, I am seeing some ideas for some nutritious snacks that I can cart with me, although the cookies, crackers and peanut butter sound rather delicious as well! :)

i bring fruit cups, kellogs strawberry bars, cherrios, granolas, pepperidge farms cookies, or dove milk chocolatess and twix and rice krispy treats to class! :) my tote's stuffed full of food always may be more than textbookss.

I keep cereal, nuts,fruit, granola bars, homemade granola, Dr. Pepper, tea bags, chips, crackers, peanut butter, popcorn, just to name a few and I rotate the food out often with other foods. I do not eat at home since I work late.

I keep instant oatmeal, trail mix, nuts, chocolate, tea, granola bars, and sometimes chips or cracker. I also keep protein shakes and string cheese in the fridge and veggies in the freezer.

Wait... I thought you were YumSugar! Anyway, I keep tea, non decaf tea and fructose. I used to have biscuits but, they used to look at me with their big eyes and beg me to eat them.

Lara Bars, almonds, condiment packets, tea sachets, oatmeal packets, and some times other treats from home like cookies, chips, etc. It's a well stocked desk drawer!

i have the emergency soup cans, tea and crystal light mixes, random snack bars, and nuts. also, i usually grab a big bag of homeade granola and keep it at my desk, that way i have it all week for my yogurt. i'm lucky to have cabinet space to hide everything!

Well I don't keep food on top of my desk since I am a receptionist..but if I am drinking something or having a snack I will keep it on my desk. I have a drawer beneath my desk where I have a few goodies - microwave lunches, hot cocoa packets, potato chips, rice krispie treats. Hey, I get hungry.

seeing that the office fridge and snack table is less that 10 feet from my desk (I can see the trail mix from here!) I keep nothing at my desk. In the fridge we have juice boxes, fruit, and whatever my father or I bring into work for lunch. On the snack table there is apple sauce, trail mix, and Z Bars or Luna Bars along with an assortment of tea. I need to get more green tea.

I keep condiment packets at my desk. I keep all of my other extra food in the kitchen. We had mice problems at our old office, so everyone I worked with kind of learned to not keep much food at our desks.

Spectra, I keep my salad dressings etc in a plastic grocery bag and tie the top. It's not exactly an impenetrable fortress, but for some reason it stops people from using it.

We're not allowed to, so I keep my food in the fridge in the lounge. I don't keep any condiments/etc. in there because people will walk off with them.

I'm a food publicist, so there's ALWAYS food at my desk! I usually have a bunch of different cereals, bread, English muffins, wine and soup...and a bunch of frozen lunches in the company fridge. Our office manager said to me the other day, "Every time I see you, you're eating!" I guess I have a reputation.

Bottles and cans of Izze (lime, clementine and blackberry), Coke Zero, Luna protein bars, Kashi Dark Chocolate Cherry granola bars, Nature's Best Flax oatmeal and Trader Joe's 100 cal dark chocolate bars...all organized in my own crazy way!

I keep hot sauce, Earth Balance and Vegenaise in the office fridge but don't usually keep food at my desk. Although, lately I've had it stocked with hard candies and cough drops to distract me from wanting to smoke... Saving my lungs and rotting my teeth :D

At my desk: red pepper flakes, bananas, canned soup, and tasty bite indian food In the office fridge: string cheese, fruit, veggies, lettuce, salad dressing, a couple mini baguettes, and jalapenos. I eat more meals at work than at home so I keep a lot!

I keep almonds, chocolate, gum and Altoids.

I usually have crackers and some sort of candy in my desk. We do have a fridge though so i might have some apples and drinks in there.

Tabasco and cheerios. Am lucky enough to have a mini fridge so I keep soy milk--regular and chocolate, as well as my homemade lunch--entree + fruit in it.
