I shuck oysters like its my job, well, because it is actually my job. I work in a classy seafood restaurant... and when customers order 1 dozen raw oysters... it is the most time-consuming
task even though I'm quite quick at it nowadays. It's pretty dangerous too, lancing yourself with the shucker is quite common, so we bought this medieval looking glove to wear while shucking
to prevent injuries.
I'm a newbie, but I have video of me (in "exhibitionist" garb, at an art night themed "Expose Yourself") learning how to shuck oysters. And I didn't draw a drop of blood--though I'm probably
lucky I didn't run my whole hand through.
