Nuts in Brownies: Love Them or Hate Them?

When I heard that yesterday was National Brownie Day, I remembered the email that's burning a hole in my inbox. It's from a friend's mom; she swears the recipe produces the best brownies ever, but I haven't made them yet. Why? Because it has walnuts on the ingredient list. When it comes to brownies, I'm a purist and prefer them without any nuts. How about you?

errm, no to the brownies, but yes to the nuts, all nuts, everyday! love them in everything.

Brownies are delicious but nuts take them over the top. Its like whip cream on pie or hot fudge on ice cream. Nuts just make brownies better.

LOVE them. Brownies without nuts are just chocolate goo, and I won't purposely eat one without it unless I'm trying to spare someone's feelings.

I'll still eat the brownie, but it'll never taste as good as a brownie without nuts.

I LOVE nuts. But keep them OUT of my baked goods. Seriously. Any kind of baked good: muffin, brownie, bread, cake, etc. There is nothing I hate more while eating than biting into a moist, chewy baked good and then crunching into a nut. Good going, way to ruin the texture! ;)
