Do You Like to Eat Cold Fruit?

From berries and cherries to peaches and plums, I love the fruits of Summer. However, I prefer to eat fruit that's at room temperature. For some reason, I can't swallow icy cold fruit straight from the fridge. YumSugar, on the other hand, is crazy about cold fruit, especially when the weather is warm. Where do you stand on the matter?

Cold! Mmmmm! That's probably because I live in Austin, Texas, though, and it's over a hundred degrees a lot of the time!

Most fruit has to be cold for me. The only fruit I would eat at room temperature would be bananas.

If you grew up in subtropical weather you, too, would be obsessive about eating fruit cold! Love frozen grapes, frozen bananas, etc. And there is nothing in the world that is better than an ice-cold ripe seedless watermelon that has already been cut up for you by your industrious father and is waiting for you in the refrigerator!

Watermelon needs to be cold!! At room temp. - just not the same....

i prefer cold. i'll eat it warm but it is more refreshing to eat the fruit when it is cold. i also have to cut things up...like peaches, nectarines, apples...i can't handle just taking a bite out of it.

I prefer room temperature! Cold hurts my teeth and I think room temperature has better flavor.

There are some where I don't mind it, like cherries and apples. Everything else I prefer at room temperature.

I love frozen grapes, cold berries and apples but stone fruits I like room temp because they seem softer and sweeter that way.

I love frozen blueberries and Raspberries. I could never eat fruit, even as a child. I would just gag and throw up. Something about the biting into something firm and getting sweet liquid??its weird. I eat tons of veg though. I've tried and tried as I got older but couldnt stomach it. Then I started freezing berries and I found I could eat them that way. So yeah, its frozen for me or its not happening :)
