I do like red onions raw in bruschetta and on burgers... BUT raw onions give me a stomach ache. I find when they're even just sauteed, they are find for my stomach! Someone once told me it's the high levels of sulphites??? Who knows!

I used to like raw onions, but they've been giving me terrible stomach cramps of late, so now I only eat them cooked.

Need to add that I only like white or yellow onions (I cannot remember which I bought). I dislike red/purple and green onions.

Yes, I love raw onions. Sometimes when either a family member or myself is cooking, I will take a section of an onion and snack on it. Awful breath however it is very healthy.

I eat them raw on burgers and in soup beans. On burgers, they have to be white or vidalia, in soup beans, they have to be long stemmed chives.

I can only eat white raw onions in burgers. Red raw onions in anything, green raw onions in anything. I only have small issues with white raw onions, they are very strong in flavor.

i can't get enough of onions sometimes and it's funny cause i used to HATE them with a passion. i don't know what changed but now anytime there's a salad with onions, everyone knows to just give them to me, even if i'm not eating a salad, i'll eat the onions stand-alone.

Raw onions sprinkled with a little sugar, paprika, salt and a squirt of lemon.... yummmy as a side.

i enjoy eatng raw onions but my stomach doesn't care for them after a while. so i eat them in moderation. my fiances grandmother loves to bite right into a fresh raw onion and eats it like an apple. no wonder his mom hates onions. lol.

When i was younger and my mom would cook with onions (white) i would demand that she cut some up for me and i would eat raw!!

I'm a little ok with raw red and green onions if they're put in a sandwich or mixed into a salsa. I don't like them on their own. I can't do raw yellow or white onions at all; they have to be cooked. And I don't like onions on pizza period...I can't explain that one.

I like raw onions sometimes - however my tummy doesnt so I tend to avoid them at all costs. Green onions raw are just fine though.
