Do You Like Watermelon?

Before this weekend, I would have thought "do you like watermelon?" was a silly question. After all, everyone likes watermelon, right?

Apparently not. At my Fourth of July party — which, like all good July 4th parties, featured watermelon — there were three people who claimed to dislike watermelon. I was shocked that such people existed. They complained that the fruit tastes watered down, whereas I think it's sweet as candy. So how about you?

I LOVE WATERMELON!!!XDif i can i would eat the whole slices of wtermelon im eating one right now lol watermelon is really addicting to me when its cut the only thing that sucks is it has t come out someway...and i thik watermelon isnt as good with the black seeds:/

I loathe the flavor of watermelon. I'd eat overripe cantaloupe every day for a month if I never had to be expsed to the smell or taste of watermelon again. Yuck!

I loove it, but I love cantaloupe and honeydew SO much more :)but my boyfriend HATES ANY type of melons. The eatable ones, that is.He hates watermelon, cantaloupe and honeydew.He also hate carrots. Hes a silly one, isnt he?He hates what everyone loves, and loves what everyone hates. Go figure!

Love it. The juice they sell at Mexican joints is really good as is a salad I've had made with feta, red onions and watermelon. It's the combo of the sweet and the salt.

It's definitely not my favorite melon. On those fruit trays featuring cantalope, watermelon, pineapple, and honeydew, I tend to ignore the watermelon. Sometimes watermelon can be quite bland! But if you find a good one, they're amazing and they are undeniably a taste of pure summertime.

When th summer comes, there s always always watermelon in the fridge, and i eat about 3 times a day!Its great when you want something sweet, when you dont feel like eating cause its hot, and great with feta cheese!Summer doesnt feel right without watermelon!(i love melon too)

No. I'm usually pretty open to (vegetarian) food, but watermelon is one thing I've never liked. I think I inherited my aversion from my dad, who can't stand it either. Don't like the taste or the texture. Or the appearance, actually. Watermelon and mushrooms would both be up there on my list of foods that I prefer to remain a safe distance from!

I never cared for it - I don't really like any melon flavor. I can't even stand fruit salad with melon because the melon taste rubs off onto the other fruits. However, I learned that there is one way I like it - a small cube of watermelon with a slightly larger cub of feta - enjoyed in the same bite. I also discovered I like prosciutto-wrapped honeydew - so I guess as long as I have something savory with the melon I'm good. :-)
