Do You Like Your Buns Toasted?

Whenever I enjoy a burger or hot dog, I take the time to toast the bun. I prefer to do it on the grill since it imparts a crisp smokiness to the bread, but in a pinch, a skillet or the broiler works fine. How about you?

After more than 4 years of working at In-N-Out burger and eating grilled cheese sandwiches 4-7 times a week with toasted buns, I couldn't imagine NOT toasting.

Again I'm 100% w/Spectra. I prefer sesame seeds on my burger buns also, thank you very much.

I've always toasted them under the broiler (we don't have a grill). I never thought to toast them on the stove, but might try that next time!

I'm not much of a bun person, but when I make sandwiches, I always toast my bread. Mushy bread is just not that appetizing.

yes, I love a toasted bun I've never seen someone do it under the broiler until last week and my MIL did it...she put butter on them first, though, which just added uneccessary calories, in my opinion

i don't eat buns...but i love to toast stuff!
