Do You Often Order the Same Thing at Restaurants?

I'll admit it: As much as I love trying new foods, when it comes to brunch, I always order some form of Eggs Benedict. I know I shouldn't always order the same thing, but I can't help myself, so I usually end up with poached eggs and hollandaise. How about you? Are there certain dishes you always order?

There are certain ingredients that will sell a meal for me. Any time a meal is served with sweet potato fries, I have to order it, even if I don't really care about eating the main dish. Other must-have ingredients include: goat cheese, avocado, eggplant, pumpkin, and couscous.

Sushi: Philadelphia Rolls, Italian: Penne Vodka or Baked Ziti, Brunch: Eggs Benedict and a Bloody Mary... I could totally go on. I am such a creature of habit!

at certain restaurants I order the same thing... But I do try to change it up..but I am not that daring

Usually, when I go to a restaurant, I go there b/c I'm craving that one thing that I always get and always like. Like at Red Lobster, I usually always get the popcorn shrimp b/c I love it and never get to Red Lobster all that often. This behavior varies from restaurant to restaurant, obviously.

Yes, I'm SUCH a creature of habit. :oops: Luckily, my husband is adventurous so I at least get to *try* something new every time. :P

Since I'm a vegetarian, I don't always have options at a restaurant, so sometimes I'm forced to order something I don't want. For the most part, I order the same item. At my favorite restaurant (which has been closed for remodeling for 3 months), I almost always got the Orange Peel Vegetarian Chicken. YUM! Can't resist!

I always order my eggs scrambled. When I eat Chinese, I always order a vegetarian spring roll and lo mein. When I eat Thai, I always eat pad see ew with tofu. When I eat Indian, I always order saag paneer or mushroom mutter and naan or garlic naan. Believe me, I have tried to change, but I'm happiest when I'm in my little familiar rut. :) (I do mix it up when it comes to pizza, though -- I like trying different veggies on my pie. Last time I had asparagus!)

I like certain things at certain restaurants. Sometimes I'll try an item I've never had before but always end up wishing I'd just gotten the entree I love.

i used to always order the chicken ceasar salad. I started to get away from that, but i have recently become a vegeterian, and so now i've got to change my restaurant habits, i'm sure i'll find a new favorite soon!

It depends on the restaurant whether or not I order the same thing. For breakfast I will typically get some type of eggs benedict as well. At steakhouses it is always the filet.

Always, and it's kind of disappointing because I'm not a picky eater at all and I feel like I could try a lot of things... but I can't resist my favorite foods!

There are some restaurants where I always order the same thing, then there are others where I always try something different. I just depends on if I find something I really like, I guess.

I can't resist risotto when it's on a menu, especially if it's a recommended "special" of the night!
