Do You Own a Cocktail Shaker?

I'm always delighted when someone invites me over for drinks and gets out the cocktail shaker. This bar essential really takes at-home bartending to the next level; I use mine all the time. How about you?

No, I love drinking cocktails when I go out, but don't drink much at home, so it wouldn't be worth getting one, plus bottles of various things.

I actually own 3, but use 2. My two plastic shakers (one single serve) are my faves. The top doesn't "stick" like the steel ones.

I don't use one at home or at work when tending bar at a s=downtown restaurant. I tend to use pint glasses combined with the bottom half of metal shakers. takes too long to make a drink with those little shaker caps involved.

Well of course! You can usually find mine in the dishwasher on the weekends, as it gets used for my highly sought after Coffee Martinis!!

I've made tons of others I don't have pics of. Like my pumpkin pie martini! Mmmm... Oh, and for a while I was working really early, and was drinking a slimfast shake in the morning, then having something more substantial 2-3 hours later. I did the Slimfast powder because it was cheaper. I found it was really easy to shake it up in my martini shaker w/ a couple ice cubes to get it extra cold! haha
