What Color Is Your KitchenAid?
Do You Purchase Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Products?
Mine is blue, but need to use it more! It's awesome when I do use it, though.
I registered for one on our wedding registry...I honestly wouldn't care if this is the only thing we got :) Though, I have an inkling my fiancee fees quite differently!
i have a green apple one that i absolutely love!! this actually reminded me that i haven't used it recently--time to bake something!
Black Kitchenaid. It's one of those things that you may not use often, but is amazing when you do. Mashed potatoes have never been easier.
I love our Red KitchenAid Mixer. My husband and I use it all the time. Plus we have the attachments lots of yummy food is prepared.
No, I don't do much baking and my mom doesn't either, but I would looveeee to have one! I love the KitchenAid Artisan in Blue Willow, and my best friend who is going to be my roommate in the fall(in our own apartment w00t w00t!!) wants it in another blue, and she does a lot of baking. Too bad it's so expensive... We love it so!
I love my pink mixer but DH dosn't like the color so much. It's his fault--he let me register for it because he thought no one would buy it for us;)
Mine is gunmetal color...the 600 model. I use it about once to twice a month, but I do wish I used it more. This is definitely going to last forever because my mom has had hers for over 30 years now.
Hi there. I recently got an ice blue artisan (june 3, 2008). I stared at it for awhile and finally made Ina Garten's Beatty's Chocolate Cake. So fast, perfect, liked doing cake and then icing in one bowl. I do have a buttercup yellow 9 speed hand mixer that I love to pieces. The ice blue is very retro. Like a 1957 chevrolet colour. Wouldn't mind somehow getting Martha Stewart green or cranberry artisan. Both discontinued. Linda
I got a pink one from all my coworkers at a wedding shower - SCORE. I use it constantly, even three years later. I'm dying for the pasta making attachment, though.
We have a 20-year old white Kitchen Aid, and we use it maybe once every other month. It does take up a lot of space, but I think of it as sculpture for the kitchen.
I love my KitchenAid. It's just plain old white but it's one of my favorite kitchen tools because it's so versatile. I love multi functional things!!
I have two upright mixers. Both Sunbeam Mixmaster's.... My Granny gave me her "old one" years (1986?) ago, she had bought a new one. The one I inherited is this gorgeous 1950's turquoise version with the weighted bottom stainless steel bowls. Which honestly works perfectly fine. I love the bowls with this one. Then my Mother gave me her "old one" a pale yellow one from the early 1960's. Which did recently die on me. (Bad power cord... I was actually able to find a replacement!) So it's working again. But I do own a new KitcheAid hand mixer in white. What I really like to own... a pink KitchenAid upright mixer. I have only seen them online. But the day I come across that pink mixer in person... is the day I will own my 3 upright mixer. haha!
I have a KitchenAid stand mixer in cinnamon red. I love it. I'm looking forward to getting the ice cream attachment for summer.
I got the silver one for my wedding (hadn't even asked for it either!!) and I absolutely love it!
**Sigh** this is the one item on our wedding registry that didn't get fulfilled. I don't bake that often, but when I do, my hand mixer just doesn't satisfy.
I have a white Kitchenaid that I inherited from my mother. She loved it and it makes me feel somehow connected to her when I use it. It's so handy. Having it often inspires me to try new things or to make things on my own like bread, pizza dough, pies, cakes, etc. I'm currently contemplating getting the ice cream / sorbet attachment.
I love mine. Before I even received it as a present, I jokingly referred to it as the Holy Grail. And now my own white Kitchen Aid is called "HG". He likes having a name. ;)
I have a red Kitchenaid and I LOVE it. My boyfriend got it for me for Christmas this past year and I use it all the time.
I consider myself a feminist in most ways but my fifties moments come when I fantasize about getting married just so I can register for the Kitchenaid I'll never be able to afford otherwise. HEE
I want one sooo bad! I bake a lot so it would be a big help. Definitely going on the wedding registry.
I want a plum colored one...I have it on my wedding registry, but for now, I just sit and stare at it in my JC Penney's catalog. :D
I got mine on sale for a really good deal. They were cancling three colors at William and sonoma and they were already a good price. Thne they couldn't find the correct box to put the mixer in so we go another 10% of so I only paid $180 for my baby yellow stand mixer which i love.
A white Classic, passed on to me by my mother-in-law when my husband and I got married two years ago. She used it for many years in her bakery, now I use it 4 or 5 times a week. My husband and I are saving our money to buy a Professional because the bowl holds more and has a handle. I treasure the one I now have, though, because I have burned out at least 4 handmixers over the years trying to make double/triple batches of cookie dough when I was single! LOL :)
I heart Kitchenaid. I want one soooo bad. :-)
