fantastic. My favorite with BBQ is actually an ICE cold Miller Lite.
Both work just fine. It depends on what I'm in the mood for. Generally I have beer, but I had champagne with my veggie burger yesterday. Seemed to work OK.

I recently read an article about how champagne is a perfect pairing with BBQ. I have yet to try it but I will.
