From egg cartons to aluminum cans, there are a lot of recyclables when it comes to food packaging. Since today is Earth Day, I want to know what you do with this excess of packaging? Do you recycle it?

Yes, but not for the environment.
I do it because I want to save the people (and other animals) not the planet.
The planet will recover and rebuild itself long after people are gone, that is unless an asteroids hits it or a gamma blast hits it then bye-bye Earth Venus will miss you. My concern is the beings living on the planet.
Absolutely. Unfortunately, the recycling company in my area doesn't currently accept egg cartons or the "neckless" plastic containers from yogurt, the deli, etc.
I try to avoid packaging as much as I can. But it happens and luckily my community has single-stream recycling and zero-waste programs around town.
I do as much as I can, my husband and I recycle pretty consistently but things that probably could be recycled get missed...we're human.
We try to recycle everything that we can. Our dump doesn't accept everything but i put as much as possible in the recycle bin.
I'm the recycle police in our house. I recycle everything possible. If my husband throws something in the trash that can be recycled, I'll dig it out.
I recycle everything I possibly can. I have noticed that many food items come in non recyclable plastic containers. BOO!
I do, but I didn't have the environment in mind when I started doing it. It's convenient.
of course - i think that it's only going half way if you throw that stuff away. there are a lot of companies that are going the extra mile to create less packaging for their products and until everyone adapts that - well...i think that we have to all do our part
I do a lot, but if I'm not sure if it's recyclable it goes in the trash.
It kills me that I can't recycle, but I live in a backwards place where if I want to recycle I have to pay a monthly fee, and I'm a very broke student. It's terrible. My college doesn't even recycle.
In addition to recycle, I re-use a lot, though I'm not as good as some people. I know people who wash all their produce bags and re-use them. That's commitment!
of course! we have amazing waste collection streams in my region, bag limits, recycling and 'kitchen' waste collection as well as yard waste. and i recycle every freaking thing i can. its the least i can do after consuming. my first goal is reduction, but recycling is currently better than nothing in a pinch
ALL cities require you to recycle so just figure out how to do it.....
Most definitely!!!!!
Of course! We have a recycle bin in our garage and take out the goods every Friday. Now that I'm living in an apartment, I'm going to be recycling as much as I can as well
I've been recycling long before it even became the hip thing to do... We have 3 blue boxes at my house and a composter. We hardly throw anything out
i recycle EVERYTHING
Im doing it for me, for you, for the environment, for the next generation. its going to help everyone.
