Do You Share Your Food?

When I go out to eat, I hate ordering what other people order. Mostly because I want to be able to try what they're eating, as well as try what I'm eating, this way we all get to taste two things - which, in my opinion, is a win/win situation for everyone. However, I know not everyone loves this idea. Some people hate sharing, think it's disgusting, etc. What do you think? Do you share your food?

I like to share w/ certain people. My hub hated this when we were first dating, but he has gotten used to it now :P

I love sharing so I always offer a taste to all my friends before I begin but I can't always try other people's because of dietary rules. :(

I grew up eating "family style" and it's totally natural for me to share everything even with someone I just met. I think I use it to judge people on how open they are too. I mean if you can't share your food with me how are you gonna share your feelings with me. I agree with sugar me sweet, it's a total bonding thing.

I love to share my food. it's a bonding experience. if someone wants to try my dish. go ahead! just return the favor. Eating out family style is the best. you get to eat everything.

I eat from my boyfriends plate to taste - it always tastes better than mine :-) BUT no way someone could taste from mine !!!! I'm a very egocentric eater and can't even stand to be served by someone else than myself ...

I love sharing food, but the people we go out with don't. So I would gladly share, but nobody wants to.

Often - it depends on who and what it is, but with my family, spouse, and some friends, I'll almost always share at least a bite, and at some types of restaurants - Chinese especially - we nearly always eat "family style."

I love sharing food, especially sushi! I also love ordering lot of appetizers on a date and sharing -- it's a fun way to get to know someones likes and dislikes -- also if they have the ability to share!!

I'm like Yum, I share everything with everyone like they do in Spain. It's a good thing because when Yum and I are eating out or tasting products we always share!

I always share. My husband and I make it a rule to order different entrees so we can split them. And I share with my girlfriends too.

Sharing is caring but it matters who is putting their fork in my food. Oh and if the person is sick or has the sniffles it is a def NO!!

Some of my best memories are ordering "family style" at restaurants with my friends and/or family. I have a small appetite, but love trying all kinds of foods, especially if I'm on vacation and may not get to eat at a restaurant more than once, I'm all about the food sharing. Drinks are a different matter altogether though!

It depends. It depends on what it is and who I am with. I usually pick of certain things I don't like and offer them to anyone else at the table.

Tapas bars defintely made this fun, but my friends and I have always shared. I grew up with them, so it never feels like taking. Mi Casa es Su Casa kinda thing.
