Do You Take Shots?

The first party we went to on Thursday night at the Food & Wine Classic was a cocktail party hosted by Grand Marnier. While there were top mixologists from around the country pouring cocktails, there was also a bar devoted to simply shots. Since it was the start of the event and I believe there is a time and place for everything, we treated ourselves to a few shots. How about you? Do you celebrate with shots?

YES! i recently found one called fairy-dust, its kahlua, cointreu and absinth layered, set on fire then sprinkled with lots of cinnamon! will make 'fireworks', has a nice aftertaste, and makes the whole bar/house smell like x-mas! whats not to like ;)

I'm not big on shots because I don't like the taste of alcohol, but Buttery Nipples are DELICIOUS. Butterscotch schnapps with Bailey's floated on top. Yummy!

Psh, yeah. I don't do it often but I like to indulge in a shot or two. Drinking games are always a fun time to get out the ol' shot glasses.

I'm the opposite of everyone here, I didn't drink that much when I was younger, so now at age 35, I'm the Queen of the Tequila Shot! But I party with neighbors, at our house, after all of our kids have gone to sleep. I love shots!

And how! My faves are Red Headed Sluts, PB&Js, and Swedish Berries... altho if I'm ordering shots in a bar, it's usually JD :)

Certain things. Mixed shots that don't taste like straight booze I do occasionally. But things like tequila and jack, I would get sick and it would ruin an evening, so I don't do that anymore in my old age LOL
