Edible Shot Glasses: Love It or Hate It

I'm really intrigued by these edible shot glasses. They come in two fun kinds: candy cane and mint chocolate. After you shoot the liquor of your choice, you can munch on the shot glass itself! They also add a kick of flavor to anything you put in them. I think they'll make a fabulous hostess gift and am super curious to try them out. What do you think?

Hate it!! I put them in the fridge to try and preserve them after the shots were taken and the next morning they were melting in a sticky gooey puddle. Perhaps if only we had eaten them after taking the shots the experience would've ended better.

while it's an awesome idea it's actually kind of hard to find liquors that go well with either flavors. Also, they're incredibly messy, kind of awkward and in the end pretty gross.

this is a really good idea. maybe i should get the person who came up with this idea to tell my mother something creative to do with her living room decor. lol

We always have the chocolate shot glasses at weddings in our family with kahlua or GM shots and they are tasty and no clean up! We have used the peppermint ones at christmas time too.. and we just put small muffin pan liners around each shot glass to keep sticky fingers to a minimum. The foil ones work best because they don't stick to the candy as badly.

OK I am a candy cane lover and I would suggest they add a little bit of plastic wrap at the bottom where we would hold the glasses, and after few drinks out of it, we can continue to lick and eat it with our fingers safe from stickiness :D
