Every few months, I host a book club in my home, and find it a lovely occasion to try out a new cocktail. This time around, I couldn't wait to incorporate ingredients that evoke the holidays, like cranberries and the zesty Italian after-dinner favorite, limoncello.
This three-ingredient sipper couldn't be easier to pull together; it simply calls for seltzer, limoncello, and cranberry juice — no shaker required. Yet the payoff is in spades: "What went into this? Can I have the recipe?" friends asked me throughout the night. I assured them that even the most bar-challenged could make this drink. For a pretty garnish that's a hint of what's to come, toss in a few fresh cranberries, too. Keep reading for the recipe.

sounds simple and yummy- i need to pick up some limoncello soon!
1I've never had that limoncello and it sounds divine!
2Oh how delicious that sounds! I think I have found my new yuletide cocktail!
3This sounds deliciously easy! thanks.
4Sounds great! I just made a version using 7-up. For you Limoncello fans there is a new Limoncello hand crafted in Sonoma CA using 100% certified organic ingredients including agave. Not your typical import more like the fresh stuff in Italy. http://www.hellosonoma.com/
5the first time I heard of Limoncello was when Danny Devito went on TV drunk off the drink.
When I was in Italy I got a dishtowel that has a limencello recipe on it but it's in Italian (which I can't read or speak). Forever a mystery to me.
Never had one either. I'll give this a try.
6This will be a perfect recipe to go along with my Christmas gifts -- bottles of homemade limoncello! I can tie these on with a pretty ribbon and make sure I buy some cranberry juice and seltzer to the tasting party!
7Beautiful, just stumbled on this from another site, and it looks delish! And your glasses are beautiful - do you mind sharing the source with us?
