Thanksgiving 101 rocks my socks off. When my hubby and I were first dating we hosted a HUGE T-giving for friends and picked this up at the library. There were easy tips on how to correctly carve a turkey AND our favorite we still go back to is the Autumn Glow Punch recipe.

I think my mother-in-law would faint if I tried to introduce something new at their Thanksgiving. She makes the bulk of the food and gives everyone else something to bring. We're usually assigned the same thing every year. I do love cookbooks, though. Some of these may be fun to have.

We keep all of the Thanksgiving issues of Bon Appetit at my house. They are some amazing recipes in there, and they always taste so good!

thank you for sharing these. i think that my family tends to fall back on familiarity for the holiday and it's nice to know that there are a few options out there for trustworthy cookbooks that have recipes that i might actually be able to be successful in making.
