Many of you said that when it comes to food reality TV shows, the novelty has completely worn off. But this type of culinary programming hasn't let up; last night was the premiere of Food Network Star, and tonight Gordon Ramsay, Graham Elliott, and Joe Bastianich will return for the second series kickoff of Masterchef. Will you watch these two new cooking shows?

My husband hates Ramsay, so we'll skip MasterChef. Actually, after seeing him on Leno being a total sleaze to Sofia Vergara, I can't stand him, either!

I'll watch MasterChef - watched it last summer and really enjoyed it, though I was unhappy with the ultimate winner of the contest. Plus, it was nice to see a different, less-angry side of Gordon Ramsay. Give it a shot, folks! I hope it's as entertaining this summer :)

I always watch Ramsay shows so of course I'll be tuning in to MasterChef. It's one of those shows that will probably stay on DVR for a few days before I watch it though. Not a priority.

I watched the first hour of Next Food Network Star and realized that I am just so over reality competitions in general. It doesn't matter whether they are related to food or not! I also couldn't help but wonder how Bobby, Giada, Alton, et. al would have done on a competition show like this when they were starting out. Giada wasn't the most camera friendly person...
