Snacks don't always have to be as fancy as soft pretzels and Asian-inspired trail mix; sometimes, the most addictive things come straight out of a jar. As a child, I was taught never to drink milk right out of the carton or eat peanut butter straight from a jar, but there are certain items today that still foster my bad habit: I love nacho-style pickled jalapeños, martini olives, and maraschino cherries so much that these items rarely make it onto a plate.
