Frozen Blended Drinks: Love Them or Leave Them?

I'm a fan of just about every type of cocktail, be it a tiki drink, modern classic, or wine-based concoction. However, I'm not too crazy for frozen cocktails like blended margaritas and strawberry daiquiris.

Sure, I enjoy the occasional piña colada poolside, but when it comes to frozen drinks, I normally stay away. They're sugary, too filling, and brain-freeze inducing.

How do you feel about them?

i prefer things on the rocks, but anything from cheeseburger in paradise is amazing. the strawberry margaritas taste like a delicious sweetart

I like to make my own! :) But I've been know to order them occasionaly when out. Depends on my mood.

I also make my own... A margarita at a restaurant have wayyy too many calories. I usually use some crystal light, fresh lime juice and blend it with tequila.

I think most of them are WAY too sweet, especially if they're made with premade mixers. Sometimes I make my own frozen drinks in my blender and use a lot less sugar, but I still prefer a vodka and diet soda or a beer over a froo-froo drink any day.

They have their time and place, but I'm not wild about them.
