Garlic Basil Soft Shell Crab

We're at the tail end of soft-shell crab season, so if you haven't had the sweet and tender delicacy yet, it's absolutely worth seeking out. Make like kitchenwithlittleb and take full advantage; her smart pairing of these briny beauties with homemade garlic basil butter and capers is a true gustatory delight.

Soft shell crabs are incredibly easy to cook with and are one of my favorite foods in the world. This simple preparation includes dredging in whole wheat flour and finished with a lemon garlic basil sauce. Quite the crowd pleaser.
