I was at my local Target — I know, it seems like I go there an awful lot — when I noticed this display of vintage cereal boxes. For a limited time, General Mills has released vintage-styled boxes of five of their top selling cereals. The promotion is part of their Vintage T-Shirt Offer. These vintage boxes of Golden Grahams, Kix, Lucky Charms, Honey Nut Cheerios, and Wheaties each contain a box code that will give you access to their specially priced vintage tees. The tees cost $5 each and you can order up to 5 of them each day.
And if you can't find the vintage boxes, don't worry you can still get your hands on vintage shirts. Just use the boxcode "retrotee" and you'll be able to get in.

I really love the cereal boxes!
Unless you own a Delorean or know Marty McFly, it's
probably the closest thing to having breakfast in the past!
1I want the Lucky Charms and Cheerios tees!
2Oooo Golden Grahams. I haven't had them in forever! I'm getting nostalgic over here.
3Aww, that's cool!
4the shipping is the same price as each shirt, so figure on ten dollars each
5I think its a cute idea for the cereal company.
6By the way, I loves the fruity pebbles and honey nut cherrios.
I saw that, too, laurel, but I still think it's totally worth it. Usually "retro tees" at someone like Urban or Delia's cost about $25 each. I like that these come in women's sizes, too. So many times when companies run promos they only come in standard men's sizes.
7i want the lucky charms one
8this is such a cool idea from them! i would buy them all and keep the boxes, does are rare!
9BAD-ASS! I love it! I am gonna buy them all (cereal that is, t-shirts I might get 1 or 2).
I agree with a previous poster, about keeping the boxes!
10These are so awesome. I want to frame them.
11I LOVE cereal! Especially Golden Grams and Lucky Charms. I was at Target today and saw these boxes too.
12I love the Lucky Charms one!
13that's so cool.
interestingly i've had a Kix, and Wheaties shirt just like those for a few years now - gotta love vintage screen prints!
14I cannot believe that General Mills did not do this with the monster cereals. Great idea, but they chose the wrong ones. Kix???
15yeah, i kinda need that lucky charms shirt asap. how perfect would that be for st. paddy's day? lol
16aw man, just ordered it and it won't ship for three - four weeks!! major bummer
17OMG! I think I remember when Golden Grahams were first introduced in the late 70s early 80s. I loved them so much back then - now they taste like cardboard.
BUT - I love KIX for what KIX has got. Mom's like KIX for what KIX has not.
Darn once I had KIX all other cereals except granola fell by the wayside. KIX rules!
18haha i saw that at Target and i thought those were fake me out cereals
19FYI it says "order will ship in 3-4 weeks"...they don't let you know that until after you place order. Plus as someone mentioned before the shipping is more than the shirt!
20Love. These!
