My best friend SJ makes these as her special family-holiday drink recipe. She also uses ice cream blended instead of regular cream. I've been lucky enough to visit her & indulge in these the last years in a row over the holiday season.YUM is right!

hmmm, Feist, the singer who sings the 1234 song in the iPod nano commercial, also has a song called "Brandy Alexander" in the same album with the 1234 song. I liked it and have been wondering what it refers to.

I've NEVER had this before but it sounds like my kind of drink, since I love creamy stuff, like White Russians, etc. I only know the drink from Feist's "Brandy Alexander."

This is one of my favorite cocktails! My boyfriend, a former bartender, makes a great one mixing all of it in a blender with ice cream, instead of cream. SO good.

i cannot remember the title of the book. I think it was something by Judy Blume, but the first time I heard of a Brandy Alexander was while readinga book and the main character got drunk on them by accident. she was a teenager and i was 10 so of course i was mortified and thought they were evil. little did i know how delicious they truly are
