Hoch Die Tassen: Love It Or Hate It?

Artist Hrafnkell Birgisson has created these adorable champagne glasses. Or are they adorable tea cups? Either way I love them and want them. What do you guys think of Hoch Die Tassen (translation: "High Cups")?

I'm a huge tea fan and a huge champagne, gin, vodka (ok lets face it, I likes to drink) so this is a perfect mix for me. I'm in love. Signing off to go buy now.

i like them, but I would like them more if the stem was ceramic as well...

I can't decide. I think they are adorable for decor and definetly an ice breaker. But I don't think I would use it.

They're a little too dainty for me. I like my tea in a big butch mug ;)

I'm with Kimba on this one. Can't stand them - they look tacky.

The stems look like too much of an after thought. Like I just grabbed a plastic straw and glued it on.

I might get these for my grandmother. She's been a teacup collector all her life, and she also loves champagne!

I love the patterns on them. They are very classic. I don't know that I'd rush right out and buy these, but I'd use them for my tea. I'm lazy and this is an easier way to reach for my cup while reading without worrying about spilling or something just holding the tiny handle. Or maybe that just makes me clumsy.
