How Do You Eat a Box of Chocolates?

How Do You Eat a Box of Chocolates?
I blindly pick one and hope I'll like it.
I look at the chocolate guide and choose one I know I'll like.
I cut the chocolate in half to ensure I get one I like.
I always pick the same one.
Other — I'll tell you how I consume a box of chocolates below!

The only one that I usually eat is the roman nougat. Chewy goodness. The rest are just for fluff.
One after another.
look at the chocolate guide!
Party, I bet your mom taught you how to pick chocalates.
I use the guide and give all the ones I do not like to my husband then I start from my least favorite and save the best for last.
We go to the shop and pick them out. Always the rum balls and things with hazelnut filling. One of these days we'll get caramel...
Since I am allergic to peanuts, first I check the ingredients to see if I can even have the chocolates. If I can, I check the guide and start with the one I like least saving the one I like best for last (eat one piece a day).
I look at the guide, but instead of starting with one I know I'll like, I start with my least favorite and save my favorites for last.
I go for the guide, then cut it open to double check. I have a peanut allergy, I'm paranoid!
I look at the guide and check for coconut ... YUM!!
if it doesn't have a map - then i won't eat it. i'm one of those people who's scared of the unknown
Im with you party, I rarely use the guide b/c most the time I don't even have a guide. I just pick at random and hope its yummy
Sometimes there isn't a guide. So in those cases I just blindly choose and I hope its a good one.
Juju, I wonder if we're related because I have a sister-in-law who does the same thing with a box of candy. I do a combination of things with a box of candy. First I peruse the box and try to find the chocolate covered coconut before anyone else does. Then I scope out the marshmallow ones, and I'm very successful with finding these two favorites. After that mission is accomplished, then I check the guide and/or sit with my fiance and check out each piece he takes a bite of. If it's something I like, then I take it from him. :D
godiva guides are always so thorough. I am in love with their truffles!!!
If there's a guide, I'll peruse that. But I like taking a cue from Forrest Gump and.....well you know the quote :-)
I am a chocolate fan. I tend to just eat blindly. it helps me to take small bites and savor the flavor.
Anything that is in a box of chocolates is good enough for me. :-) My sister in law will bite half of a chocolate and put it back in the box....and it drives me insane! IMO, if you bite into it, just finish it. It's a fricking chocolate!
I go to the guide first. After a while I don't look at it, and I randomly try them. If I don't like what I bite into, I give it to my boyfriend. He'll eat anything.
I hate it when there is no guide!!! I end up biting into nasty raspberry fillings and stuff (though I usually inspect pretty closely before I bite). I'm with the gals who go for the caramel first!
I only get boxes of chocolate with stuff I know I like in them, so I don't mind going blind. It's a nice surprise every time. If I happen to get a box from someone who doesn't know how picky I am, I'm still apt to just eat whatever I pick up, though I might make a face at first if I get the pink cream!
I go for the guide if it has one and then I still check it before I eat it. I have too many food allergies to be biting into a surprise!
Let me add one to this poll: I blindly pick one and push the bottom in to see if it's something I'll like! If not, I give it to my boyfriend! :-P Maybe I get ghetto chocolate boxes, but those guides don't always come with it!
Look at the guide and go for the dark chocolate ones first.
