Sour Cream: Love It or Hate It?

The other day a friend asked me for guacamole advice. She wanted to make an incredibly smooth and creamy guac, so I recommended processing the avocado and vegetables with a little sour cream. But it turns out her boyfriend, one of the people she was making the guacamole for, hates sour cream. I wasn't surprised to hear this as, like mayonnaise, many people seem to fear the cool, tangy condiment. How do you feel about it?

I love it too! Nothing better than a sour cream based dip or having it with nachos! or baked potato! or anything!

Love it, but only on spicy things to cool them down, like Mexican food. Can't have them in my baked potato. But on the other hand, I love making onion dip with it! You know, the dry package of Wise onion dip that you mix with a container of sour cream? Yes, not the healthiest but oh so good when the craving hits!!! (and mighty quick!)

I like it, but I don't eat it very often because it's so high in fat and calories. I like plain yogurt instead...it gives you the tang and the texture without all the calories.

That's kinda funny tigr...the consistency of Fage really reminds me of sour cream, which is why I eat a different brand of greek yogurt. But I can see how it would be an easy substitute. :)
