the guy at the local deli in silver bay,NY is not using gloves but touching every piece of meat he touches...is that legal....do not want to buy any more food from him...

It depends on the type and my mood. Although I will say that I always like my turkey thin, never to thick for me please.

I rarely eat deli meats, but when I do I like them thin. Except for salami, which I prefer thick.

Love the thinly sliced meat, especially wrapped around a crispy pickle, melon or even cheese. YUM!

Thick for pastrami and corned beef, thin for prosciutto.

I always ask for my lunch meat and cheese to be paper thin and more often than not they don't do it. It drives me crazy because my kids don't like it when it's thicker and I end up trashing it. I also don't care if the cheese stick, I like the taste better when it's thin, there's a difference somehow.

super thin. I don't have much of a preference with cheese, really, except swiss -- for whatever reason, I need my swiss to be thin.

i don't eat meat - so i can't really answer this one for how i am now, but when i was younger, i would prefer them to be thin.

i like my deli meats cut just like partysugar. except now that I'm a flexitarian i don't eat them that often

Thin, the deli people always hate when i ask for my cheese sliced thin. It's gonna stick they always say! I'm the one eating it and paying $5.99/lb just cut it how i ask!

Meat-shaved, cheese-thin. I drive them crazy, for some reason most clerks hate the extra work.
