How to Make Cheesy Mashed Potatoes (Video)

Mashed potatoes alone are simple and delicious, but I like to add in mix-ins to make them more exciting. With so much going on during Thanksgiving, it's easy to let the mashed potatoes get boring. This year, to avoid that problem, add some cheese and lots of it. Depending on the style of your Thanksgiving dinner, select a cheese that goes along with your menu. I'm going to use my favorite Spanish cheese, manchego and goat cheese to make the ultimate cheesy mashed potato. Now we've got our basic mashed potatoes here, and this is where things get fun. We're going to add the cheese. First we're going to add manchego. Next we're gonna add goat cheese. So make sure to give it a good stir until all of the goat cheese is incorporated. You can see cause the goat cheese has whiter color than the potatoes and all of the shredded Manchego is melted into the potatoes. So, there you have it. How simple is that? Cheesy mashed potatoes.
