@KarKarB24 KarKarB24, I know how you feel. I used to bring sourdough bread home to my family in TX, only to find it was stale and hard by the time it got eaten at the end of the day! These days I know better...you've gotta bring the parents to the city, not the city to the parents. ;-)

I never knew how special sourdough bread was until I went away to college in LA and couldn't get a satisfying sandwich anywhere! I actually used to bring back loaves to LA with me after visiting the Bay Area on school breaks!
