Inside Out Champagne Glasses: Love It Or Hate It?

When FabSugar was in New York for fashion week, she came across some pretty interesting champagne glasses at the Steinunn show. These inside out champagne glasses by Charles & Marie are an artistic take on the classic champagne flute. The base of the glass has been removed and the entire flute floats inside a clear cylindrical tube. The champagne is kept cooler longer because there is no direct contact with the glass that actually holds the drink. I love them because they create an exceptional visual presentation and are interesting, original, and unique. What do you think of them? Inside out champagne glasses: love it or hate it?

Very unique and different. I like it. Probably a safer way to serve champagne too!

I would think that these are far more practical for large parties and where the normal flutes would apt to be broken. Plus I like the idea of the beverage staying cold, longer.

Nothing is better than an elegant flute or the traditional champagne glass. These look like they will be tipped over very easily.

I really don't like them. And as was mentioned previously; champagne usually doesn't have a chance to get warm!

They remind me of the little plastic tube play-doh comes in at the $1 bin at Target. :(

I like them in the modern sense... I think it's a great innovative way to keep champagne cold, but let's face it... who holds on to champagne that long anyway?
