Any whiskey works in this recipe, but — pardon the pun — why buck the notion of going with Irish? I used Concannon.

Irish Buck

Ingredients
2 ounces Irish whiskey
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
3 ounces ginger ale
Lime wedge, for garnish
Directions
- Fill a lowball glass with ice. Add whiskey, lime juice, and ginger ale. Stir and garnish with a lime wedge.
Makes one drink.
Nutritional information per serving: 184 calories.
