Similar to Zotts and other fizz-filled hard candies, Hello Kitty Fizzy packs a refreshing punch reminiscent of a carbonated beverage; fitting, given their soda-fountain inspired flavors. Sadly, aside from the ginger flavor, which we praised for its zingy, tart, spot-on resemblance to ginger ale, these were essentially a flop. Both the orange and grape options tasted almost burnt, off, and all-around fake, with the orange losing particular marks for it's chalky Emergen-C-adjacent flavor.
