With so many cocktails, beers, and varieties of wine to choose from, it's good to have one standby drink you don't have to think about. Something that every restaurant stocks or every bartender knows how to make — your signature drink, if you will.
That way, if you're feeling undecided, you can just sidle up to the bar and shout your usual order. I tend to change my signature drink every so often, but my go-to beverages include gin and tonics, a Manhattan, or a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Of course, I always need fresh ideas, so tell me: what's your signature drink that you usually order at a bar?
Urban Decay
Gin and tonic, two limes. I like them really sour! My old standbys were gimlets and whiskey sours.
1Mine are vodka and soda/tonic and red wine.
2It depends on the location and my mood: grey goose martini, vodka press, the last word, Stella or Heinken Light, and sparkling wine or Sauvignon Blanc.
3Vodka Collins - It's tasty and pretty hard to screw up.
4It depends on what I'm in the mood for, but I find that Strawberry Daiquiri can usually lift the mood if I'm down. Otherwise, it's usually a glass white wine. Living in a country of beer drinkers, I'm really standing out by not liking the taste of beer at all, so I'm all for finding tasty alternatives.
5I love a Bailey's on the rocks with a splash of water. But rarely does a place get it right. Only my husband knows how to make it the way I like it.
6It's a toss up between Cosmos and Rum and Coke
7Usually a vodka and Diet Coke with a squeeze of lime or a Miller Lite, depending on where I'm at.

I'm a fan of Jack and Ginger Ale. It's less sweet than Jack and Coke, and even more delicious.

I usually go with a Manhattan, but I'm getting sick of those. Standard dive bar drink is bourbon and soda. If everyone could make a fine sazerac, I'd order those all the time.
13Vodka tonic or with pineapple juice. BUT if there is lychee martini, I'll dive for it.
14fancy: 1/2 grey goose, 1/2 tanqueray martini with lots of olives
standards: vodka + soda/tonic, rum & coke, or a blue moon
feeling different: rum and ginger ale (once that was all i had, tried it and fell in love)
15Vodka with a splash of Amaretto over ice. Or just vodka over ice with two lime wedges.
16I will either order an Amaretto Sour or a shot of Tequila (Patron' or Traditional' only though!)
17I'm more of a wine drinker, so I usually go for Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio. If I really want to get the job done I'll go for something heavier like Merlot or Shiraz.
18vodka cranberry or g&t. I feel like I need an upgrade! I also love a singapore sling, semi-ironically, though never more than one.
19Love Absolute Ruby Red Grapefruit flavored Vodka.
For brunch we enjoy Ruby Red screwdrivers... and for a refreshing late night drink - Ruby Red with Club soda & a splash of Cranberry juice.
It's a must try!

42ketelone martini, dry & dirty with 3 olives. SO good! But it's expensive so it's more of a once in a while treat; the rest of the time i'm a beer or chianti girl.

48Depends- I'm always for scotch neat or Manhattan, but sometimes a variation of a kir or bellini for lighter fare. My best friend created a signature cocktail for my bday last year, too, so I'll make that on occasion, but it's super girly.
