Light Beer: Love It or Hate It?

The other day I went to Tommy's Joynt, a San Francisco institution, for the first time. The establishment serves up hearty food (it was featured on Triple D) and has an extensive list of beers from all over the world. My sister ordered an amber ale, but I wanted a light beer and asked the bartender for an exotic recommendation. While I was sipping the lighter-style lager from Kenya, I realized I never drink dark beers. Why? I simply love light ones! How about you?

Tusker is delicious... light and slighty nutty... and I'm not even that much of a fan of beers!

I love browns and stouts. My favorite is 8 Ball stout from North Coast Brewery in Arcada, CA. Yummy!

Were you drinking Tusker?? I'm more a fan of dark beer - porters or at least brown ale - but I love Tusker :)

Define "light" beer. If you mean lagers and other light-COLORED beers, I do like them. I'm not a huge fan of "light" beers like Miller 64 or Michelob Ultra because they taste pretty watery to me.
